A Tale of Two Libraries: Edie Cherry, FAIA
 
Albuquerque’s Special Collections Library (originally Albuquerque’s Main Library) and the present-day Main Library were opened almost 50 years apart, 1925 and 1975 respectively. These two public buildings exhibit two major architectural influences in our region: Spanish Pueblo Revival and Modernism. Edie Cherry will present what the architecture tells us about the culture and society during those times.
 
Dinner: 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
New Mexico inspired cuisine: Artichoke Cafe
 
Where modern takes on classic dishes, a five-course plated wine dinner catered by the Artichoke Café including amuse bouche, soup, salad, entre, and dessert.
